Other news
Our esteemed Patron, the Hon Dr Basil S Hetzel AC, was recently awarded the international and prestigious Prince Mahidol award. The award is given on behalf of the King of Thailand and the Thai Government and is named after the late Prince Mahidol. There are 69 nominations issued around the world with only 3 awards granted each year.
Dr Hetzel was recognised for his life’s work in the field of medical research and we congratulate him on such a prestigious and international honour.
